I personally just think the entire engine just needs to be rebuilt. I feel like the engine is holding the dev team back a lot in what they're able to do and a completely new engine would help them be able to do so much more. Unfortunately that also means completely rebuilding the game.

It's honestly been so freeing to restart FFXIV from 0. I can allow myself to just play the game at my own pace however I feel like. There's no pressure to be 'good' at the job I'm playing and no pressure to try and keep up with everything and honestly that's how it should be.

The biggest things I want is for jobs to start feeling unique again and new mechanics that actually give each role something different and interesting to do that compliments their role. Mechanics that aren't just rehashes of old mechanics. More interactive MSQ dungeons. Break up the formula a bit.

Starting the game fresh as basically a new player has actually helped me understand playing with controller a lot better. Still a work in progress but this is essentially gonna be what I'll build off of to develop my new character. I feel like they look a bit too similar to Mika face-wise but it could just me being nitpicky. Just want them to feel like me even if they don't look like me fully.

Did anyone ever come out with a full Dawntrail compatible Miqo'ra mod? I've been living off bits and pieces that others have helped me with but that does mean I'm stuck to one option for both color and horn type.

No but seriously legit 90% of the post game so far has been ONLY in Solution 9. We barely ever go out into Heritage found either. I enjoy the written story but why were we cooped up in an area that wasn't even the main draw of the expansion. 😭
