Made apple cake, well 2 to be precise. Wasn't happy with the first (darker one) so changed the recipe, second one looks much better 😋

My notes.
The pastry:
Even using UK cups, it made only just enough. Do use a fork to mix! Best pressed out as soon as it's made.
The custard:
It made too much, I had to throw some away. Next time I'll use 3 eggs and just a cup and a small drop more of milk.
