Can we find out: a) who at Dalhousie hired these consultants? b) how much Dalhousie is paying them? c) what have been their recommendations to senior management and Dal board?
Just to clear the air a little.

Ever heard of the Nous Group? A consulting firm that desperate universities hire to help with cost-saving and restructuring? Turns out they are actually vampires who parasitize tertiary education: drive.google.com/file/d/1_1Fk...

The reputational risk to #Dalhousie University from its misguided and ill-considered lockout of Faculty is massive. A glance at the Board makeup, mainly corporate types, makes me worry they may have no idea what makes a successful University, what Faculty do, and why.

Convenient for Republicans to say "don't politicise tragedy". But this article from April about experienced #NWS early warning manager from San Antonio, #Texas forced into early retirement by #chainsaw cuts to #NOAA demands accountability in the face of the #flood tragedy. tinyurl.com/yyhxveef
Head of local weather warnings takes early retirement as NOAA cuts continue

What's wild about this whole album is how many singers can sound like Joel Plaskett
Crazy good. This is my go to if someone puts a guitar in my hands and I can't think of my own name.

This makes sense. #corruption and #racketeering, pure and simple.
Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.
No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

Has everyone forgotten their basic biology? Whales, contrary to sharks and fish, eat carbon in the ocean, metabolise it to move and stay warm, and then pump it into the atmosphere. The carbon goes the wrong way!!
Whales are really great but not for reducing atmospheric CO2😂🧪

A great analysis by @hannahritchie.bsky.social showing that restoring whales -- while a great idea for biodiversity and ocean ecosystems -- is *not* a climate solution.

Could whales be a solution to climate change? Probably only a very small one.
The numbers don’t live up to some of the hype.
