Post op depression has been kicking my ass. I’m fortunate that my boyfriend called my roommates to ask them to check up on me because I was in a pretty dark place this morning. They gave me some much needed physical contact and let me vent. I’m grateful for my found family.

I’ve had to have a fair few mental check ups with myself as I adjust my life post op. Discomfort is starting to fade and complications are being treated/addressed. Noticing significant healing. Soon I’m good to dilate 1x per day and will be getting much of my free time back. Relaxed. Settled.

We had an underwear party. I forgot to take a pic of my whole outfit but that’s okay. I was just happy to be there. Did some labs to check my T levels. Though I’ve been feeling pretty good and gaining weight!

I had my first orgasm the other day since surgery. I think I understand chastity lovers a little more. After going for a few months without, that felt divine. It’s a relief to know I’m definitely still capable.

Lots of pain when dilating has caused me to have to go back down a size but I’m told this is normal and to not sweat it or push myself. Feels a bit disheartening that I worked so hard to stretch to the size 3 only to have to go back to size 2. The process. Mohawk is coming in nicely at least.

Sometimes I get stuck in my head over things that aren’t real. Feeling unimportant or unwanted by the people I know would do anything for me. Sitting with these feelings and let them pass rather than fight them. They’re ugly but they’re part of who I am. Saying what I feel instead of a blow up.

I’ll be moving next month as well. Funny it’s back to where I distinctly recall having a moment of ‘I do not want to leave because I may not be able to come back’. Glad that worked out for me. And I told a friend today that I’m moving back as me.

Birthday is soon so that’ll be nice. It’s always on a Sunday. I’ve always told in person jobs that I was religious and requested Sundays off. It’s also the day I typically plan around visiting my mother. Sunday is a good day to me.
