I was just responding to a thread about board games and card games and how they bring families together. We grew up playing games and then played games with our sons. During Covid, one clever son created his own card game and I did the illustrations. Interested? look at tweedytricksters.com

“Jaws” came out when I was in high school. We saw it at the theater, mobs of people went to see it. I just watched the documentary about the 50th anniversary of it's release and wow, is it good! Steven Spielberg shares his memories and reveals behind-the-scenes stories. Really worth watching.

Had a busy couple of days dyeing wool. I sold a lot at my most recent workshop, so I had to catch up my inventory. This will fill in some gaps. 🥰

Our current feral kitten cluster. They're close to being weaned, at which point we hope to capture them, have them fixed, and adopt them. Right now they scatter and are afraid of us, but we're working on that!

Those of us of a certain age will remember the sweet, charming children's books we grew up with. I loved “Frog and Toad Are Friends” as a kid. So when I saw this t-shirt, I had to have it! 🥰

An update 🙂. I'm prepping to teach a workshop, so progress will be slow, but I did squeeze in a bit more featherage. 😉 I work on it as often as I can!

Since finishing the self portrait, I'm starting a new one as part of a group project to highlight the Save Endangered Species program. I've chosen a Macaw, because they're threatened by the loss of their environment by cutting and burning forests. I'll post my work in progress as I go.

The rug is complete. I added some little metal gears and cogs to parts of it to create some more texture and jazz it up a little bit. Very pleased! ☺️

I'm finished! I mean, my self portrait is finished.☺️ I'm very happy with how it turned out and also that it was a fun and quick rug to create. I'll give myself a break before I start another, but this was a good one to do.

The hooking is finished except for the outer border! I believe I can finish it tomorrow, then trim and bind the edges by the end of the week. ☺️

Got more background filled in. I'm pleased with the way everything has come together. Now to finish the rest of the background and then finish the outside border!☺️
