I participated in my first ever game jam - the Godot Wild Jam - with my digital art themed puzzle game, Canvas Variations! I had a lot of fun putting this one together.

“do i feel this character was justified” can be a starting point for more interesting juicy stuff: WHY did they do it? how do these circumstances reflect their history/personality/feelings/etc…and that’s before even getting into what symbols and metaphors you can start sinking teeth into

I’m excited to announce that my Senior Composition Recital, entitled “In Retrospect”, will be happening on April 12th in the MEIT at 8:00 PM!

“In Retrospect” is my tribute to all the people, places, and things that have inspired me along my musical journey.

Here's my performance of Lauren Teel's beautiful marimba solo, "...Just the Light We See". I really love how this piece strikes a balance between great technical demand and great musicality/expressiveness. The best of both worlds!

Here's my solo marimba arrangement of "Was it a Dream" from the lovely animated film Robot Dreams, originally composed by Alfonso de Vilallonga. This movie means a lot to me, so I'm glad I could pay tribute to it in my own way!

By complete coincidence, a sample comic from WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase appears to be notably close in its plot to popular online game Among Us, featuring an imposter among astronauts and the verbatim use of the phrase "among us", a decade before that game was released.

Apparently no one on Bluesky has ever mentioned Virtual Drumline (at least not that I can find), so I guess I'll be the first!

I like Virtual Drumline a lot and still use it, though I'm so familiar with how it sounds now that I can't unhear it when it's used in soundtracks, commercials, etc.

Here's a piano solo I wrote in the spring of 2023 called Desktop Memories. It was inspired by the Windows XP computer I grew up with (which still works to this day!)
