Mistake to Underestimate [SPC700, 20A3]

Here's a chiptune piece I wrote recently!

You know those Yamaha MIDI keyboards and the unreasonably good demo songs they came preloaded with? That's what inspired this tune!

Clement works as a safety tester in a far distant space station... it's not really as cool as it sounds.

I participated in my first ever game jam - the Godot Wild Jam - with my digital art themed puzzle game, Canvas Variations! I had a lot of fun putting this one together.

“do i feel this character was justified” can be a starting point for more interesting juicy stuff: WHY did they do it? how do these circumstances reflect their history/personality/feelings/etc…and that’s before even getting into what symbols and metaphors you can start sinking teeth into

I made this fanart to celebrate the 5th anniversary (and 500th page) of a webcomic I really love: Hello From Halo Head, by @batshaped.bsky.social!

To commemorate the end of my time in college, I wanted to share one of my favorite pieces that I wrote during my time at UNT: Creative Modes. It's a five-movement chiptune piece written like a drum corps show!

I’m excited to announce that my Senior Composition Recital, entitled “In Retrospect”, will be happening on April 12th in the MEIT at 8:00 PM!

“In Retrospect” is my tribute to all the people, places, and things that have inspired me along my musical journey.

Here's my performance of Lauren Teel's beautiful marimba solo, "...Just the Light We See". I really love how this piece strikes a balance between great technical demand and great musicality/expressiveness. The best of both worlds!

Here's my solo marimba arrangement of "Was it a Dream" from the lovely animated film Robot Dreams, originally composed by Alfonso de Vilallonga. This movie means a lot to me, so I'm glad I could pay tribute to it in my own way!

By complete coincidence, a sample comic from WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase appears to be notably close in its plot to popular online game Among Us, featuring an imposter among astronauts and the verbatim use of the phrase "among us", a decade before that game was released.

Apparently no one on Bluesky has ever mentioned Virtual Drumline (at least not that I can find), so I guess I'll be the first!

I like Virtual Drumline a lot and still use it, though I'm so familiar with how it sounds now that I can't unhear it when it's used in soundtracks, commercials, etc.

Here's a piano solo I wrote in the spring of 2023 called Desktop Memories. It was inspired by the Windows XP computer I grew up with (which still works to this day!)
