today in D&D, the party is painstakingly dismantling a naturally occurring prismatic wall while fighting elementally associated enemies. On the final wall, the party got nearly wiped by a sphinx that kept recharging its roar, but one PC did die (and got gentle reposed)

it's very difficult to gauge if our earnings and spending habits are sustainable when the first 3 months as home-owners were also around the holidays, but I feel like we're at least doing well enough to actually improve some things around the house
