Yesterday was the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and I had the pleasure of sharing my Work in Progress to my Department. It has been a while, so I had a lot to share! I also got excellent questions/feedback in return. Thanks to Amit Budhraja for taking the photo.

Just sharing my progress on my WIP, Bluebeard's Princes by Mirabilia. I started this in May, sorry she's in segments haha but she's on a scroll frame. #CrossStitch
The head of the mermaid, though her chest and the conch shell are still visible. Her hair is flowing towards her left in undulating teals and shades of lavender. The waist and torso of the mermaid, with the tail completed. Her bra is the same color as the center of her tail, a pale green. She's looking towards her right hand, which is holding a blue conch shell with seaweed flowing down. Though her face is completed, her hair is still missing. Cross stitch image showing the bottom half of the piece. On each corner of a green and teal seahorse facing outwards, decorated with blue, teal, green, and even pink beads. In the center is a vibrant mermaid's tail, pale green in the center but fading to brown and tan. Beading shows that the mermaid is wearing multiple "necklaces" on the peduncle area of her tail (below the waist).
