We are ONE generation into women having a CHANCE at life & it’s proved so intolerable America would rather end itself than allow such a thing to continue.

Hubby and I are celebrating the 34th anniversary of our first date. We usually have the same meal we had then, but weather has us kicked back eating a Newman’s Own supreme pizza instead. 😊

So excited WEP/GPO was repealed! As a KY teacher who has paid into SS for 40 quarters, this is a huge relief. I am flabbergasted (but shouldn’t be) that not only did both KY Senators vote no, but that Rand Paul attempted to raise the retirement age to 70. SMH

It’s sad that with a 73-20 vote, both my senators were part of the 20.

I shouldn’t be surprised that my KY reps voted no on WEP/GPO. I don’t know why they keep voting against teachers and other public servants.

Coldest day of the school year thus far. No police=bus backup=longer bus duty…and I discovered my winter coat I bought at the end of last season isn’t as long as I thought. Brrrr
