It's 110-ish hours later and I am nearing the end of my Dragon Age Inquisition playthough (or at least I thought so until I realized I had a whole nother DLC to play through.) But it seems like I'll be done with it in another 12. Then it's on to Veilguard!

Can we hook up a New Years Eve broadcast hosted by Brennan Lee Mulligan and Aabriya Iyengar for 2027? The regular NYE broadcasts are hard to watch and I crave something nerdy/casual.

When we have an off week for Spelljammer we've been playing as a party of Githyanki in what is essentially a Rogue One style suicide mission. Anyhoo, I think we yelled 'FOR VLAAKITH' at least a hundred times in one session.

One of my biggest weaknesses as a GM is running combat. I constantly forget tactics and rules, and I feel harried referencing stat blocks - ultimately my fights are probably too easy on the players. That said I’m really only now understanding this about myself so it gives me something to work on!

Owing to a brilliant suggestion in a guide video for the Call of Cthulhu scenario I ran yesterday - we made the crucial NPC of the module into a player character and it worked out extremely well. Felt like a fresh and exciting take that I’ll definitely consider again for the next one shot I run.

Just wrapped up this went SO WELL. 😮💨 really fun time with this system! Loved the focus on investigation, lore and exploration. Oh and the horror of it all. Perfect for spooky season. Anyway I’m going to go have some tea and decompress

In my first D&D group there was a guy who was building a custom gaming table. He'd show us pictures of it and tell us how proud he was of how it was turning out. He never invited us to play on it.

I bought a bass guitar this week largely on impulse and…I’m feeling this vibe!
to be honest I've always found it kinda fun to end up being a little bit crappy at whatever I try to do... Takes a lot of pressure off, and I feel like everyone can tell when you're doing something just for the love of the game
