Using a zebrafish model & human brain tissue, Tapia & co find that high levels of CH25H and 25HC are linked to small brain bleeds following COVID-19 infection. They show that 25HC can damage endothelial cells, especially when cholesterol levels are low. doi.org/10.1242/dmm....
