A disproportionate number of the people who died in the LA Fires a year ago were disabled. This didn’t have to happen. Governments are required to provide for the access needs of the disability community. We demand they keep that promise by suing them when they fail. Help support our work!

Earlier this month, Representatives Pramila Jayapal (WA-07) and Adam Smith (WA-09) introduced the Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act, a bill that seeks to enact guardrails and oversight on immigration detention and ensure civil and human rights are protected.
