Just finished watching Superman. And I have thoughts. As a writer, there's a lot more telling than showing than I would have liked. And I feel like Superman wasn't fully embodied if that makes sense. Maybe it was trying to do too much? But there were flashes of things I liked.

A comment turned blog post?! Yup!

Thanks @chuckwendig.bsky.social. I hope better times are ahead for us all. At least I have your blog and books to make the day a bit better rather than filled with misery.

Our kitty, Mama cat. I've known her since I was 17. She's 16 we think. Still cute as ever. Thankful my fiancee sends me photos of her whenever she can. #cats

Dad is home from the hospital. Excited to see him and my mom tomorrow. One doctor said he has the heart of a 20 year old and no signs he had a heart attack (just a minor infection around the sack around the heart). Not bad after fighting cancer for 7 years, eh?

There's so much talk about what we hate, but what about what we are for? The whole Elon/Trump feud is like two negatives trying to cancel each other out. I think that's why it's so satisfying. But don't forget to remember what we are for, not just what we are against. #June5

One thing I feel like is happening with society is that we are structured to be against anything we don't like, but wouldn't we be better off to support the things we do like? It's like giving up all junk food all the time and not knowing what to eat when you can make a healthy salad. #randomthought

Another thing I noticed about Facebook is that it's changed to be even more eCommerce focused. It's not what your friends like or have to say, but what businesses they like and what those have to say. Makes sense with TikTok I suppose (which I still haven't used or downloaded.) #Facebookobservations

Really wish Facebook had "work accounts" or a split profile instead of tying everything into my personal account. Too easy to get distracted. Something I need to work on, but I'm using social media a lot less on a personal level and feeling better for it. Still...tests my monkey mind.

It's like someone who shot themselves in the foot at a party, spilling blood over everyone, but the rich party bros are patting him on the back for slapping a band-aid on it. And those party bros knew he would do it and made money by filming it and posting it to "America's Funniest Home Videos."

If TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) applies to those upset about Trump and how he operates as President, would you call people obsessed with those people as suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome Syndrome? One is upset for specific reasons, the other is just upset at others for being upset. 🤷

1,000 words is a special number in writing circles. Why do you think it is 1,000 and not 843? I have some thoughts:
