Clarifying comment that Liverpool are even worse.

The tragedy of this Premier League season is that both Arsenal and City are absolutely terrible. A healthy, young Klopp in a time machine would be steamrolling these.

4 weeks after this cycle, all 8x 400m intervals today ranged between 3:51-3:58min/km. Engine is coming in nicely.

Nothing will put the fear of god into you like hearing your sump pump pit making jet engine tier wooshing noises at 5AM, especially when outdoor temps spike 10 degrees and the sidewalks are slush filled lakes.

2025 was a weird year. I have plenty to be thankful for but plenty to improve/reflect on.

A bottle of 750mL San Pellegrino is $3 CAD at Loblaws. This is a 20% price spike in the past 6 months. Completely unacceptable.

Get your best midfielder out of right-back, play your in-form striker, and develop basic patterns of play on the left side of defense. Absolutely horrid two months.

Liverpool's set piece defending is absolutely appalling but the base level attitude of the players is concerning. Gakpo and Gravenberch both pulled out of winnable 50:50 balls. The supporters expect intensity and application, even if the game is going against you. Unhappy days.

Phase 3: Increase Loblaw and Perrier pricing to $13.99/6-pack at Loblaws

Phase 4: Increase PC branded prices to $9.99 per package at Loblaws so it looks like a comparative value choice.

Do not buy your sparkling water from these cretins. 2/x

Galen Weston's tactic of boiling sparkling water consumer frogs has paid dividends.

Phase 1: Drop PC branded sparkling water prices to $7.99/6 pack to compel PC purchases vs. Perrier.

Phase 2: Remove San Pellegrino and Perrier bulk packs from No Frills shelves

Slowly working into a new running block targeting a March '26 race. 8x 400m repeats on order today with 8x 400m easy pace in between. Best interval 6 repeats in at 3:48min/km. Building!

All I know is I'm getting a lot of credit card points this month.

Going through a very Persian time in my life (eating a container of pomegranate seeds each weekend).

We are right in the thick of learning to manage a 2.5 year old dictator. Arguably the most challenging parenting phase yet as her vocabulary and reasoning skills are developing at warp speed and each day she gets smarter, like Skynet.

Daylight savings time change has been a categorical disaster at our daycare. One non-sleep trained kid blew up the entire nap routine for the other 4 children and we're now dealing with a mini banshee running buckwild.

Pretty clear Arsenal are running away with the league at this stage. Liverpool have a huge fortnight ahead. MacAllister and Isak need to return to form, sort out the fullback puzzle, and get Alisson through rehabilitation STAT.

Waterfront half went about as well as I could have hoped. 1:46:59 watch time put me just a touch outside of target. Next race will target 1:40:00 finish time. More hills and volume but encouraging overall.

Being a dad has absolutely rocked these past two months. I love having a little buddy who I can teach to read, go to the pub, and chase around the park. Amazing summer.

Genuinely hated the ASICS Magic Speed 2's during first runs but realized my laces were too tight. Amazing session in them today.

Last half-marathon speed session before race day. Ran a few miles at race pace and was right on tempo for both time and heart rate. Feeling far better about this weekend than Hyrox.
