The national average price of gasoline continues its slow but steady climb, now at $3.139/gal, says GasBuddy, the highest level since November, 3.4 cents above a year ago. The median price is back above $3 at $3.03 per gallon, while diesel continues to climb at $3.67/gal.

Surely this gas price surge can’t continue. The Orange guy said so. Are we great yet?
With oil surging to ~$74/bbl, the national average price of gasoline jumped nearly 6c/gal over the last week to $3.03/gal today, according to GasBuddy data. Price cycling markets (Great Lakes, DE, MD) saw some of the biggest hikes. The upward trend is likely to continue.

Just so everyone remembers, Republican Ronald Reagan pulled Social Security and Medicare into the main U.S. budget to balance his budget from all the spending he did. SSA was a separate entity with its own budget and funding.
