Not too long ago we discovered that everyone had a podcast on YouTube. The vast majority of them involved simply a podcaster sitting in front of a camera talking directly into the camera.

Having committed each of the seven deadly sins, Trump is now planning on systematic violations of international law beginning with an act of war against Venezuela. I wonder if MAGA is happy about the way this guy is going about ending forever wars. A peculiar strategem to win the Peace Prize.

We have known for years that Trump is utterly devoid of any class. We have heard him deliver the most vile sputum from his tormented brain. But recently, he has lost any trace of decency that even the most loathsome person clings to. ...

RIP children and teachers of Sandy Hook.
What a tragedy that we have done essentially nothing to solve the crisis of school massacres. We live in a country that loves money more than children.

There appears to be enough GOP votes to ensure an extension of the ACA subsidies for 2 years. Why hasn't anyone, including any Democrats, drafted a discharge petition. There are only 10 days left before premium rises go into effect. The Democrats justified the shutdown on this basis. Why no action?

Of course Hegseth said "kill everyone." This is part of his "No Beardos" speech on Sept 30: "We also don't fight with stupid rules of engagement. We untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt and kill the enemies of our country. ,,,

We have reached peak podcasts. I accidentally watched the new podcast hosted by Steven Miller's Wife/Elon Musk's confidant Katie Miller. She has the inside track on the country's most nauseating personalities. Check this clip from her show with Mike Johnson.

I just saw an ad hawking Jordan Peterson's 8 part lecture on Personality. (I couldn't find the price; you have to virtually hand over your credit card before they reveal that.) It's on Personality. This truly illustrates GB Shaw's quote: He who can does; he who cannot teaches.

You have to wonder if Trump knows what "covert" means.

It must be tough on Trump to lose the Nobel Prize, especially in retrospect when he probably should have focused on Medicine and Physiology for his path-breaking work on the uses of bleach as an internal antiviral therapy. But we shouldn't worry too much about him. He's nothing if not a good sport.

The DoJ's job now is to hunt down Dems and those who oppose right wing conspiracy liars. Thank god for lawyers like Christopher Mattei. Paul, Weiss should take a lesson.

Trump said that today's meeting with Putin is just a "feeling out" meeting. I would have thought that Putin had at least gotten to second based with Trump by now.

Absolutely peachy that Ghislaine Maxwell is joining Elizabeth Holmes in the prison camp for the elite. Nothing to see here folks. Just a couple of privileged white women getting Club Fed treatment.

Edward Miner Lamont is planning to run for his third term, at which time he will be 72. He has followed the Democratic Party's Very Old Deal that the 70s and 80s are prime time for leading a party. That why Chuck Schumer (74) is doing such a bang up job.

Ned Lamont is the kind of Democrat who can look at a serious problem square in the fact -- and not see anything. Unless, of course, it's a threat to fellow billionaires and their comforts.

The Governor of Greenwich, fresh off a tax paid boondoggle to Paris, has vetoed the major affordable housing bill passed by the Democrats. This in a state with a chronic housing shortage. One that has increased every year this billionaire has been in office.

As Karoline Leavitt gets more confident in her job, she finally sounds like a high school sophomore trying out for the varsity debate team. In place of knowledge of the subject matter and understanding of how to effectively argue, she has that enthusiasm of a 15 year old that many sophomores show.

Looks like Trump is not winning the Nobel Peace Prize because he cannot pay attention for more than a day or two. So I guess he can now train his formidable mind to winning the Nobel Economics Prize by continuing his campaign to burn down the global trade system.
