I did not until today.

This is fantastic
Someone wanted to see what this would look like without including players who are still mid-career.

Here's how Top 100 Prospects and unranked players produced for 1990-2010 debuts (so players whose careers are over or at least very close to over).

We will roll out our new Top 100 Prospects rankings tomorrow. In preparation for that, I did a research project looking at our 36 previous Top 100 lists (1990-present).

Quick thread on some of what I found.

This is going to be the year of Robyn. It's been 30 years since "Show Me Love" and the three songs from her new album are awesome. He's never been a megastar but has been a constant underground dance hit machine. "Dancing On My Own" is a generation anthem. "Every Heartbeat", "Call Your Girlfriend"

MLB doesn’t need a salary cap. But it is hard to see how one isn’t coming.

The aspect of the Dodgers success that no one talks about is that right now they are the only MLB team that is a truly global brand and marketing machine.

Other teams could have done this, but didn’t.

Between Olivia Rodrigo and Finn Wolfhard, Gen X parents/aunts/uncles/folk are pointing and saying, “See? See! SEE! They get it! Music that sounds cool because it is cool!”

(The new Finn Wolfhard album- yes, the kids from Stranger Things - is delightful in that ‘90’s and early ‘00’s indie way.)

Later this year, it will be 17 years since b. jay passed away.

the gaye blades were one of those "never known" bands that if they came out today, you'd think they were going to be the next small, big thing.
