If you're going to share a personal website / portfolio with prospective employers, make sure the basics check out (supports HTTPS, no certificate warnings, renders well on mobile etc).

How did we ever convince ourselves into manifesting "SEO" as an industry? All that time and energy, wasted in wordsmithing, not to communicate, but to appease the algo ..
