I hate going to therapy and constantly feeling like I am faking what I experience whether it’s my autism or unexplained dissociation. I hate feeling like I have to admit not knowing when or how exactly I’m dissociating because I only vaguely notice it hours later which adds onto the denial.

Has any autistic person gotten an AAC device after seeing a Speech Therapist? I wanted to know if there’s any requirements or I just have to see a Speech Therapist for eligibility. I’ve even struggling with speech due to overstimulation for a while now and not sure if that’s “enough” iykwim by that.
