This is probably the worst event to be cancelled for technical issues. They prepared a cool Christmas theme and everything!

I'm listening to the SPM soundtrack while I work on documenting its dialogue, and damn, man. It's so insanely iconic. Genuinely one of Nintendo's best ever.
I haven't played Super in over a decade, but most of these themes are still etched into my soul.

i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!
Buy a solo indie dev's game because I want to support them.

In my video, I mentioned that the rolling Thwomps in Mt. Lavalava are called Spiny Tromps. That is what they're called in Super Paper Mario. But I do wonder if "Tumble Thwomp" was supposed to be their name in 64.

It sounds small and stupid, but being able to add a dedicated "Animal Crossing" button that syncs an hourly playlist to the device clock is the kind of insane detail that explains why Nintendo made their own app.
It's insane how different I sound in retakes. I tried so hard to mimic my voice from a month ago, bit I guess that Disable just doesn't exist anymore.
If you notice the retake and think it sounds bad, just know that that was the 7th attempt, and the others were WAY worse.
