As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. truly surprised how much ableism i'm seeing in replies. not everyone is physically able to get to a dropbox or stand in line at the post office for a postmark. and some red states have made it illegal for anyone else to drop off your ballot.
