Oh, I just learned James Dobson died the day I decided to watch S2 of Shiny Happy People. He was featured in the doc and the clip was shown of him saying “Apparently, resented by an entire generation of kids who would like to catch me in a blind alley on some cloudy night,” while laughing about it.

I’m could probably pull some Carman and dcTalk CDs out of storage right now, and I literally cringed seeing them in this doc. I can’t believe this was part of my life.
I remember listening to James Dobson and Chuck Colson. Went to several Carman concerts. The power of the altar call.
Heck, I still have dcTalk on my Spotify!
