Apart from being obviously awful you can see from the flash of anger on his face that he is feeling *completely* out of control about this situation. Reminds me of the interview he bailed on in the ESPN 30 for 30, “Who Killed the USFL,” when he was confronted on his failures by a reporter

I know there is a sucker born every minute, and scammers thrive on those that believe a Nigerian prince doesn’t proofread their mails, but cannot they use the AI to identify those that has more than two brain cells and leave us be? This is not annoying, just depressing and sad.
Just got one of those LLM “you are bestest author evar, we run a book club with 10000 members all of whom must post a review once an hour or die” spams about OGL Horror, an rpg book that came out in 2004. I await the email from someone telling me that the Quintessential Halfling changed their lives.

Nothing says ”we will never win a fair election” as creating obstacles for voting. If you feel safe, you make it easy to vote and for others to campaign.
Just in: GD’s Parliament Speaker says Georgians abroad will no longer be allowed to vote.
Over 1 million eligible voters live outside Georgia — most opposition-leaning. GD already suppressed their vote with too few polling stations and hours-long queues. Now they’re banned entirely.

Haven’t seen the movie but this gives me flashbacks to when Äventyrsspel stated various fictional characters like Snake Plisken in the #ttrpg magazine Sinkadus. Never saw the point but it was fun reading. ☺️

Jag tror många västledare fortfarande är rädda för att Moskvastaten bryts samman och därför drar fötterna efter sig i sitt stöd till Ukraina men kriget och attackerna emot väst kommer fortgå så länge Moskva står upp. Vad annat än kollaps skulle få dem att sluta attackera Europa?
För övrigt tycker jag att alla västländer ska sluta prata om fred för Ukraina som ett mål. De är inte villiga att göra det som krävs för fred, att Ryssland förlorar förmågan att föra krig. I stället bör de berätta hur de vill administrera det eviga kriget. För det är det som är alternativet.

Discussed with a colleague within HR, we agreed that being a manager is a profession in itself. You are not engineer and manager or doctor and manager, you are manager. Why does every org insist on managers have a lot of operative tasks? Is the org scared the manger doesn’t ”produce” otherwise?

Det är för mycket där beslutsfattare (både politiker, i det offentliga och det privata) bara verkar köra på utan att tänka igenom det riktigt ordentligt. Ju mindre de vet ju blåögdare är de! Det finns bolag som skall undvikas oavsett hur mycket säljaren smörar.

Jag upplevde just att Excel meddelade mig att jag kunde skapa formler med ”den nya upplevelsen infoga funktion”. Jag upplever just nu en skvätt tyst gråt över min excelupplevelse.

Med tanke på en del debattartiklar som kommit ifrån Polisen de senaste 15 åren är nog inte frågan om de använder sådana program eller om de samkör utan vilka och hur mycket som sköts av Polisen och hur mycket som körs på leverantörernas system. Har Polisen kompetensen att göra detta själva? Skeptisk
Polismyndigheten blir här svaret skyldig: Använder man omfattande övervaknings- och kartläggningsprogramvara och i vilken omfattning? Vilka data samkörs? Myndigheten måste svara på dessa frågor. Vi vill inte ha ett nytt IB.

Many have a straight value from 0 to N and ”roll below to be recognised”, while Western have two values (reputation and fame), roll below fame. The good are the tables on how to interpret reputation.
