even tho i veered away from the Catholic Church, i always admired Pope Francis for his courageous work. he shifted the culture in ways we may never know - and i hope the next one will continue his work.

the more stress I feel about everything happening with trans in the political climate, the more I feel drawn to being around other trans folks.

access isn't easy as a deaf person. i deeply cherish my deaf trans community, but I also want to connect with more trans people. access remains a barrier.

Since January 21, I’ve noticed my ability to do extra things outside of home and work responsibilities has declined drastically.

Living in a constant polycrisis (just learned that term!) feels daunting and debilitating. Even a walk outside feels impossible.

What do y’all do for #smalljoy?

Correction: Transgender people have always been here and will remain, no matter what an executive order may say. You cannot erase us.

Claudia Sheinbaum is a boss. La Jefa!
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and Donald Trump each announce their agreement to pause tariffs for a month.

Sheinbaum beat Trump to alerting the public. You can see what Trump left out of his message.

Watching this in Mexican Sign Language (LSM) is a cherry on top. A big fan of Claudia Sheinbaum here.
Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum claps back at Trump using a map from 1607 to say that parts of the United States should be renamed 'Mexican America' (voice translated with AI)

A fan of @jenpsaki.bsky.social (Jen Psaki)- I picked up her book, SAY MORE. It was incredibly engaging, well-written, and funny. Felt like she was mentoring me, the reader, on how to be a better communicator with real-life examples. Psaki is def someone I’d love to have dinner with!

Trans journalists, particularly ones writing about trans issues, have been pushed out of the industry. It's why I started Assigned Media, and why I'm determined to grow and increase our capabilities.

A 🧵 about the "quiet purge" of trans voices, what to expect, and what I intend to do about it.

saw a thread floating on #BookSky about books that were life changing or stayed with you for life. wanted to share one of mine.

I read this book in high school and I still think about it often. Probably my first exposure to African colonialism. This book is seriously underrated.
