They're going to change the hybrid mana rules AND the reason the last couple of Magic sets (Avatar and Spider-man) don't have commander products is because with the hybrid rules change, commander becomes EVEN more confusing for new players.

"It would give designers more flexibility" is not a good argument for changing the hybrid mana philosophy in a fan created format and I wish we'd stop treating it like it is.
