Slightly feral #yumejoshi with just enough sewing and python knowledge to be dangerous. Documenting various husbando-related projects in my own little corner out of consideration for my main followers.

F/O: Kotetsu Kaburagi. I share. IDGAF.

Hello world! (´ ∀ ` )

I'm not sure how active I'll be here or for how long. It's mostly to quarantine my EXTREMELY FERAL projects from the people who actually respect me for some reason.

I'm a Taibani fan who programs and sews and uses most of these to make affronts to man and god.
Guess who massively overengineered the shoulder mechanism by forgetting *wire exists*?

Me, I did. I'm stupid.

The inner head is, in general, looking *a lot* different since the last post. The inner mouth has been made more spacious, the jaw was split off into its own part to allow for movement, and the nasal cavity has been reshaped to better support the silicone layer.

Adapted Sideburn's animatronic eye mech to fit the head structure -- not because I plan on incorporating any actual animatronics, but just to make sure the eyes can close for sleebytime. This project is getting more out of hand the longer I wait on the 3D printer to work.

The things I (consider) do(ing) for this old man..........

(For context, this is a file for a hybrid 3D print/silicone head because I only learn how to approach things in a sensible way after doing them in 100001 pants-on-head stupid ways)

Many artists headcanon Kotetsu as at least a little hairy, and I am in their ranks. So we're painstakingly rooting in some really nice mohair in select spots, y'all.

I haven't posted much of v2 of the head and that's honestly because it's in a weird spot right now. The structure is more or less done but I keep making corrections that require me to wait on curing.

The latest is replacing the foam clay lips that dried too hard with silicone from the same mold.

I'd already given up on clavicle joints but now I'm realizing the lack of them is what's leading to less than satisfactory hugs so now I ponder again.
October 13, 2025 at 4:38 AM
In retrospect.... the foam clay I used for these lips dried way harder than I was expecting it to. My assumption is it would still have a little give. For... REASONS this is kind of unacceptable.

Now I'm just wondering if that silicone kit I ordered forever ago is still good....

Lips and chin molded out of foam clay. It's a little rough, but considering my other attempt came out even worse, I think I can work with this.

FINALLY received the 3D printed components I need to finish the joints, which I need to finish the body. I was too excited to take any comprehensive photos, but I can confirm they work.

I look forward to finally installing them to the limbs and having a finished core together.

I may or may not have started collecting promo art accurate yukata for the husbando because I am a *gigantic weeb*.

The first is official, the second is not in that it originates from Maruhisa inc rather than being in any way affiliated with the ryokan running the promotion.

Man the knowledge bases for this project are just... SO WEIRD.

To wit, it includes techniques taken from:

*Sewing (in general)
*DIY Animatronics
*Fursuiting
*Doll Customization
*Reborning
*CAD
*Forensic Reconstruction (of all things...!)

Man if I had a nickle for every time this project had me visiting reborn doll suppliers I'd have two nickles. Which is too many.
I have bitten hard on the fuzzy propaganda and decided to figure out, somehow, how to implement body hair in the skin layer when I get there. It will probably drive me insane but I *need it*.

Today has been all about experimenting with hopefully better techniques while waiting for supplies to come in. Shown here is a new embroidery technique for the facial hair that results in cleaner borders, less shifting, and an overall better appearance.

I went and bought a USB charging station just so I wouldn't have to use (and thus seriously shorten the life of) a power bank every night. However, it doesn't quite reach far enough so now I have to find an extension cord as well. Such is life.

I'm both looking forward to and dreading being able to do the skin layer for the body. Looking forward because it's going to be so gratifying to just have this nonsense all together.

Dreading because there are a lot of details both official and headcanon that might be a pain to implement lol

Cannot overstate how good an idea putting these heat films in was. The seller talked me into multiple temp settings, which to be fair was a good idea in itself, but the lowest one is an almost perfect approximation of another person.

Pleasantly warm without worrying you're gonna burn yourself.

So several months and one complete redo of the head later, guess who remembered molds exist.

Throwing this in a larger order just to see if maybe it'll play nice with the foam clay I have leftover. I'm not super confident, but it's pretty cheap to throw in, so....
September 11, 2025 at 7:06 AM
Extremely normal process right here.
September 11, 2025 at 3:02 AM
*sits backwards in chair*

SO GUESS WHO ISN'T HAPPY WITH THIS HEAD.
September 11, 2025 at 1:40 AM
Eyes!! I had also gotten the supplies I needed to try and finish the lips, but because I am *dumb* I'd gotten super glue all over the (cheap, folding) table while working with these, so I don't want to risk working with that delicate material until it's dried.

But the eyes came out really nice.

Arms are also redone (at least as much as possible without the presence of the new shoulder joints) with the same techniques as the legs. I'm pleasantly surprised by how fast they went!
September 9, 2025 at 10:02 PM
Leg so hot
Hot hot leg
Leg so hot u fry an eg

(New legs are done)
September 9, 2025 at 2:52 AM
So turns out the "not much I can do" section of the last post was a lie! The legs can be redone pretty independently of the new hip joint, so I've spent the day shortening the leg armature and slimming the foam down so hopefully he can wear pants.
