A perfect articulation of my frustration with the “left” and its penchant to retain its independence, power and leverage through the essential negation of ANY legitimate idea. Postmodern deconstruction without a thesis/synthesis, and a nice place for the nascent world centric self to hide.
I wrote about my deep disagreement with a lot of the reactions I’ve seen to the Bernie/AOC rallies and how they betray a sort of nihilism that is antithetical to revolutionary politics and ignores the dialectic at play in the current situation.
