Picked this up from the library after weeks of waiting. A retelling of Medusa. As a black woman.

Her locs turn into the snakes 😭
I know I’ll probably cry.

This is why we have to start traumatizing these men back.
I hate how manipulative men are when you could've just told me the fucking truth.

The 🐐 Vegeta, obviously.

‘Nomad’ by Ricky Hill and The Weeknd released in 2013 is a criminally underrated track. I never hear anyone talk about it but trust meeeeeee this song is it.

Fun fact: Ricky Hill is Tommy Hilfiger’s son

Some days the only appropriate response is to slap a bitch in the mouth.

But, I have to be professional.

I don’t follow these celebrities enough but the Grammys was a topic of conversation today. Coworkers were so proud of the celebrities for using their platform to denounce ice.

Meanwhile I’m here wondering if that was just performative and if they’ll go back to being silent now?

It’s hard being the introvert among extroverts. The extroverts I know are pushy. They think it’s okay to push people outside of their comfort zones for the sake of social interaction. They take the “don’t worry I know what’s good for you” attitude and…. I hate that.

Catherine O’Hara passing away made this day go from shitty to absolute hell.

Nope absolutely not.
At your current age would you be able to win a foot race with your 17 year old self????

The cruelest thing the world could do is separate me from the people I love. I don’t know how I will survive that.

Everyone is excited about Bridgerton and then there’s me who stopped watching after Season 2 because NOTHING could top the chemistry between Kate and Anthony

I’m feeling the cold bad so that’s my cue to start adding 2026 music to my soca playlist

It is bitterly cold. Please take a second to say a prayer of protection for the unhoused as they brave this chill. And I hope to God there are enough shelters and warming stations open 🤍

When I win the lottery, no one will know. But there will be signs.

Like this.

In my dream library. With floor to ceiling bookshelves. Booknooks all throughout.
Oh look, another book nook! Phenomenal way to channel stress into creative work.

Not gonna hold you, the world has had some dark times. But what’s happening now is the 10th circle in hell.

It’s unfathomable to me we’re living in these times. Murder is literally happening in real time and we’re having debates about if it’s justified or not.
