Who could have predicted this? This administration is going to pillage the US treasury for anything that isn't nailed down. I can't really blame them - it does take a fair bit of money to move to Argentina with a fake ID.
They’re all just looting the treasury now

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

It's an acceptable obituary, but just not the one I keep hoping for.

Look, at this point I would be more surprised at a headline claiming any member of the Trump administration actually told the truth about something.

They lie too easily, nobody calls them out and their followers eat it up.

If you thought Trump’s 28 minute interview with 60 Minutes was bonkers, imagine the 45 minutes they edited out.

I'm confused. Isn't this the same person who was telling that the press edited an interview with Kamala, and was throwing her softball questions?
here's today's post: "why the fuck is 60 Minutes even bothering?" — in a world of new lows, a newer low.

it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 91st day out of the last 103.

12 days of work in 103 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.
