Gonna change it up tomorrow and toss in a lengthy stream of #7D2D with the new patch and some new/returning mechanics.
We'll start a fresh map in order to get a feel for the impact of the changes from a low level where you're still getting rolling. At 9am CST we start smashing zombies.

Slowly doing a bit of a purge of things I no longer use/play/etc. around the house.
So far:
GamePro mags 99-170 have gone to another local dad who'd gotten rid of his before marriage.
GBA charge cord and 5 games are going to a local mom who rediscovered her old SP, but also ONLY the SP.

The more I play 7D2D, the more I see that it's easy to break the game early running solo and I can only imagine how it changes in a multiplayer setting.
Not that it MATTERS if you break it solo, but, hopefully, if everyone picks a different role (stat focus, really) and the party ends up with

Maybe I SHOULD stream the next time I play #7D2D hmm? I'm getting into uncharted territory at this point -- far from the endgame "max everything, impenetrable fortress, orbital laser weapon" but the biome progression is new and I ran across some second-tier zombie types that took a little work.

I don't get very long play sessions lately (and I'm saving HK for streams because it's more fun that way), but I'm kinda proud of my progress in 7 Days to Die. I'm kicking a surprising amount of butt, which I really didn't expect. The "skill unlock via magazines" is a nice approach, too.

I'm not saying the sledgehammer in 7D2D is my new favorite way to both annihilate zombies and boost my Exp gain, but... getting 12K by clearing a parking lot swarm with a whirlwind of headshots felt PRETTY GOOD.
I might just make my next character an old bearded fellow named Uther.
