I was happy with a hair and makeup win at least! a teeny sad Nosferatu didn’t get it but still deserving. And for horror to get so many nods this year was encouraging.

The Heathers and Mall Rats are pretty well known films even today. Not saying her legacy isn’t more TV based but Heathers saw a pretty big revival in cultural relevancy recently with the reboot and broadway show. They also cut away quickly after Shelley Duval which was disappointing.

Just because you don’t know how AP style works isn’t the writers fault. Why don’t you actually read the article WHICH IS CRITICIZING A VERY VALID PROBLEM. Attacking journalists because someone tells you you should makes you no better than MAGA. Here’s an example of them doing it again IN CONTEXT:

Hi journo here: my assumption based on the context is the writer is quoting something from the account. I.e. Libs of TikTok wrote something like ‘the military is asking for gender identity’. Even if you were referring to an invented terminology or something similar this isn’t how you’d denote it.

This is what gets me. The other day I saw someone say they live down the street from the MO rep. That introduced the abortion bill. Like if I lived within WALKING DISTANCE of someone like that they would see me post up outside EVERY DAY.

This is going to be a historic aviation disaster. Was talking to people monitoring police scanners. They are cutting EMS on scene because there aren’t any survivors being pulled out. Some people are saying 4 survivors reported. but not seeing that confirmed. Enormous loss of life. Terrible.
