Reading the Capitol Weekly story on gender parity in the #CALeg, we've been tracking demographics in the leg at CRB for a while, we've already twice seen this trend, a spike in female legislators is followed by a drop, while long term trend stays toward parity.

The Wall Street Journal is Picking Up Good Vibrations
Spending rose under Biden but drew negative coverage; now it's falling under Trump, yet media call it a recovery.

The @uclaanderson forecast director @jnickelsburg just announced his retirement! He's been quite the legend in California economics. 👏(Don't worry, like any good academic, will only be semi-retired)

Sacramento State is #1 but its best is still in front of us and the association has two great leaders lined up to lead it into that future, with new President Rabbil Green and President-elect Nkiruka Catherine Ohaegbu leaving nothing more to say, but #StingersUp!

It speaks to the community pride that has exploded in recent years, under the leadership of Prez J Luke Wood and President Nelsen and the great work of Jennifer A. Barber leading the association.

We've got an incredible board carrying on the work. As I've said many times, if we had the caliber of applicants eight years ago as we have today, I'd never have been selected for the board and if we had the caliber of nominees three years ago I'd never have been President.

Just finished my last board meeting with the Sacramento State Alumni Association.

It's a great time to be a Hornet, as Lance Hastings would say, it's been an incredible 8 years, celebrating and supporting our great university, and doing the work with such incredible people.

Very informative data on what people know/care about.
The top-left (don't know/do care) is full of economic good news and environmental bad news ... if only people knew a little more about that.
Lots of political horse race and drama in the don't care sections.
