but they will admit if they hadn’t taken on the role of the leader of the veilguard, they wouldn’t have met emmrich, who lefted them out of that dark place they were in mentally. so despite feeling like they’re not fit for the role/it overwhelms them, they are glad it brought them their love

ethan doesn’t think they’re good leader. more often than not, they’re actually afraid of taking control & leadership. after being pushed away a lot when they were younger & being left on their own, they’re scared to give orders out of fear of it happening again & it bringing back bad memories

Hello #PortfolioDay! I’m a fantasy and romance artist, particularly in the #DragonAge and #BG3 fandoms, but also table top in general!

I’m currently in an experimental, messier phase with lots of sketches to improve the flow of my compositions.
Emmrich and Rook from DAV blissfully kiss on a bed, both are fully clothed and they are holding hands. The colors are very warm, dominant in pink and purple with blue shadows. The lighting suggests the soft illumination of candles that are not pictured. A full bg3 family of Tav married to Gale, who is holding their 5-year-old girl in his arms while he kisses his tiefling wife on the cheek. Astarion is with his wife—a tiefling Durge—while holding his baby girl on the left while holding mistletoe over his wife’s head while she giggles. She’s holding their baby boy on the right. Emmrich from DAV painted in the style of Leyendecker while performing necromancy. Emmrich kisses Rook in the memorial gardens beneath the statue of the lovers. The color palette is predominantly turquoise with purple shadows and a few highlights of yellow.

i used to mainly work with a chibi style but i tried going outside of that style last year by trying something new #myart

i remember when the VG stats were dropped after the game released and it was revealed that emmrich was the least romanced companion. but now so must people are getting cameos and signed prints from nick. it makes me happy that he and emmrich are getting the love that deserve now
