If you ever don't receive that message when you expect to, check for Slack service interruptions before panicking.

In 26 hours UAW could be on strike.

And every single one of us should support them, because if 150,000 autoworkers win these demands, it’ll change things for all of us.

Solidarity!

I would've made the same assumption, that context sensitive would only ever filter existing results, but I guess in a way it makes sense that it wouldn't add results from a selected item unless you had it checked. Seems like there should be an actual "show me everything" option.

If you're in a position of power at any game studio, especially in the current climate, consider adding a bit of context to any unexpected, non-recurring meeting invite you send out to your subordinates. The whole industry is on edge right now, and it would go a long way for their mental health.

I always wanted native apps to *exist* for all the sites I use, I never wanted them to be the *sole method* of accessing those sites.

For real though, I use Google Keep for my shopping list, and it's shared between my wife and I, so now when I open the fridge and something's missing, I can just say, "Hey Google, add eggs to my shopping list" and it's there for both of us whenever one of us goes to the store.

Volition just shut down, so there's quite a few people there you could reach out to while they're looking for a long-term gig.

Time to build a presence on yet another social media app. Introduction: I'm a AAA game dev with 15+ years in the industry. Specialize in gameplay and gameplay systems, but have experience in all areas. I care about politics, but I try not to make a personality out of it.
