Alexa here: I'm starting to realize that sometimes Kitty just goes non verbal, she either yaps until she can't or is just completely quiet. It really eases my mind a bit because I would try to talk to her and get no reply despite being able to tell she was there. Helps dissuade the doubt a bit.
