🏡 HB 8002 is not only a pro-homes bill — 🌎it’s a pro-climate bill! While opponents falsely claim that the bill doesn’t protect natural spaces, the reality is that it exempts and protects open space and conversation areas.

Thank you to Fairfield County Community Foundation, @housingcollective.bsky.social @norwalkfilmfest.bsky.social for hosting the "Building a Future We Can Afford" film screening, panel talk and open house Tuesday night. It was great to see so many coming out to support all the work to be done! 👏
Local leaders like @eli-sabin.bsky.social are taking meaningful steps to correct the mistakes that cities made in the 20th century. This is a BFD.
We did it! After years of work, our Downtown for All zoning reform plan has passed the New Haven Board of Alders!
Our legislation significantly expands how much housing can be built in our city's core, and it will make a real difference for New Haven families.
