🏘️ @reprojas9.bsky.social boldly speaks about the stigma around affordable housing. People often make assumptions about the individuals living in these homes, but the reality is simple: they are our neighbors, friends, and family.

🔥 Governor Ned Lamont is right: you aren’t serious about affordability unless you’re serious about housing.

We're thrilled to have the Governor on board and look forward to continued work on these critical issues.

❌ ”A municipality will lose discretionary state funding if they do not meet their affordable housing goals"
✅ There is NO point where a municipality will lose discretionary funding.

🏡 HB 8002 is not only a pro-homes bill — 🌎it’s a pro-climate bill! While opponents falsely claim that the bill doesn’t protect natural spaces, the reality is that it exempts and protects open space and conversation areas.

Local leaders like @eli-sabin.bsky.social are taking meaningful steps to correct the mistakes that cities made in the 20th century. This is a BFD.
We did it! After years of work, our Downtown for All zoning reform plan has passed the New Haven Board of Alders!

Our legislation significantly expands how much housing can be built in our city's core, and it will make a real difference for New Haven families.

Something I love about this (other than the new homes it will create!) is that New Haven’s acting like cities used to: ambitiously!!!

Cities used to want to grow and gladly dealt with that dynamism. Hell, our state used to want that!

Love to see NH bringing that swagger back to CT!!
