Today is the Winter Solstice in the norther hemisphere.

Learn to enjoy and value the short day and long night.

Reflect on what it means to bask either in the sunlight or the glow of the moon and stars. A long night gives us a chance to look up and into billions of years.

So, they passed the resolution to keep the US government functioning. They even rebuked Trump by refusing to include the debt ceiling limit increase. Now, how is he going to pay for tax cuts for the rich? Don't worry, he'll find a way to screw average Americans out of their money.

Trump's plan to destroy the US government is relatively simple and realistically easy to do: 1) Deny funding, and 2) Deny staffing. Without money and the staff to carry out the mission of agencies, they will grind to a halt. He tried it last time he polluted the Oval Office, and the tactic came close to succeeding. Velveeta Voldemort wants to end the government's ability to regulate anything, and this is how he will do it. Faint skull and cross bones image is in the background.

Never allow any relative to try and exploit or manipulate you using the phrase "But we're family" or "Family comes first." That is pure bullshit. It is an invitation to trample your personal boundaries, rights, and space. Real family is considerate, kind, and understanding. Real family would never try to coerce a relative through such means.
