A reference sheet of Salem, a black and grey Snow Leopard/Panther with blue and cyan spots. His pronouns are he/it. There is a front view and back view to show his fur colours and spots on his back, tail, and arms. The right half of his hair is blue in the back view, and in the front view it is solid black. Its hair is an emo shag type of style that covers most of his face. There is also a symmetrical headshot showing his forehead and lazy style eyes and its eyebag markings, and there is a cut off drawing of his lower half to show his paw pads are cyan. There is a colour pallete made of stars on the far right of the sheet. Other design notes listed on the sheet are; Can have paws or hands. Ears are always downward or flat. I don't think enough people realize that for many folks on disability they cannot risk having over a VERY low cap of money/property or they will lose their benefits nearly immediately

It often prevents folks from marrying as well it's ludicrous
Green Beans and Such @somuchbeans It's disability pride month, and did you know disabled people in the US with Medicaid are not allowed to have more than $2,000 in money and assets combined, or else we'll lose our often life-saving health insurance? Don't fucking tell me forced poverty isn't A Thing™™

I spotted this on Mastodon and I find it horrible, not least for the speed with which this has happened.
A post on Mastodon by small cypress (@small_cypress@indieweb.social): As an art teacher I was worried AI would come up as an issue of "why should I learn how to draw when I can use AI instead." But the real issue is that my middle schoolers CONSTANTLY believe all art I show them is AI. Digital art. Photography. Oil paintings from the Western canon. "A human couldn't do that" Being convinced that humans can't make great art is kind of terrifying
