The Children, Education and Home Affairs Scrutiny Panel has today launched a review into online protection measures for children in Jersey.
The review’ aims to establish what is considered good practice with regards to the safeguarding of children within the digital world.

Following the hearing, Panel chair, Deputy @deputycurtis.bsky.social said: 'The Panel was encouraged to hear that Jersey's safeguarding measures for protecting home-schooled children appear very robust and we are pleased that the methods for analysing exam results is currently under review.'

CHANGE TO MEETING TODAY

Please note - due to the timing of an earlier meeting this morning I’ll only be at my constituency meeting today from 1.30 till 2pm.

Normally I’m at the Town Hall every Monday from 12 till 2 to discuss matters but today it will only be from 1.30 till 2pm

Great food allergy conference today with speakers including Tanya and Nadim Ednan-Laperouse, founders of the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation. I’ll be questioning the minister on allergy policy in schools in a public hearing on 6/12. Around 3% of school children have food allergies
