Check out our latest paper in Nature Neuroscience (rdcu.be/ey7yk). This was a great collaboration with some very surprising results! Seems that a glutamate burst and proximate IEG expression might not be necessary for structural neuroplasticity induced by 5-HT2A partial agonists.

I love all of our papers equally, but I might love this one a bit more. Rare to see complex molecule total synthesis, molecular neuroscience, and behavioral neuropharmacology in the same paper! Special thanks to all of of the students and our collaborators who helped make this work possible
The #UCDavisIPN's latest article in @pnas.org is out now. By transposing just 2 atoms in LSD, we synthesized JRT, a non-hallucinogenic analogue. Read about this and how the compound could be used as a potential treatment for schizophrenia here: www.pnas.org/doi/epub/10....
