A birdwatching trip to Draycote Water on 15th Dec yielded excellent views of Great Northern Diver and a female Scaup, both year ticks. Highlights included,Kingfisher,Goldeneye,Goosander, Buzzards, and a Red Kite. Despite missing the Ferruginous Duck, it was a rewarding 5-mile circuit. #ukbirding.

Thinking of starting field trips up again at my local bird club. How does your own club sort these ? Is it car share, minibus rental or something else ? We used to hire a minibus but it got problematic for many reasons. #birdwatching #birding #ukbirding
