Feel free to add your own ideas for reforming Congress!

1. We should pay Congress critters based on the median income in their states. When they make crap money, they might actually work for real job growth, real income growth so that their salary increases, too. #ReformCongress
Happy Birthday sundae for my sweet at Moo Moo Cows in Federal Hill in Baltimore. The guys that run this place are super, and the ice cream is delicious! If you’re in town, stop by and try it!

I haven't decided yet if Bessant or Hassett has the more punchable face, but they both tell some extremely outrageous lies.

What's your unpopular Star Trek opinion?

Star Trek V is a good movie. Sybok is one of the best tragic characters in all of Trekdom; his broken heart finding out he was duped and subsequent heroic action are excellent. Also, Kirk standing up to "God" is iconic.
What's your unpopular Star Trek opinion?

Sub Rosa is a goid episode.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture is the best Star Trek.

Hope to move to Spain soon enough and was going through picking my team to support. Guess it won't be Atletico Madrid. Which team should I pick now?

BTW, I'm a supporter of D.C. United right now, so obviously I don't care if the team is a winner of loser. :D (D.C., you break my heart, though.)

Good. Countries need to cut us off and isolate us. With Trump, his sycophant cabinet, and MAGA/Project 2025ers/Christian Nationalists in control, we are unreliable and chaotic. Hopefully NATO countries cut us off, too.

7 Democrat Senators and 1 Independent Senator are the biggest suckers today.
November 10, 2025 at 3:16 PM
So, Tim, you actually believe Republican promises to hold a future vote on ACA premium tax credits? You are a sucker, and you just did a disservice to every Virginian who delivered for Democrats in last week’s elections. I hope they recall you; you don’t deserve to stay until 2031.
My statement on the funding deal to reopen government, protect federal employees, and vote to protect health care:

These are the 8 Democrats and Independent who shit on everyone who voted for Democrats in last week’s election:

Cortez Masto - NV
John Fetterman - PA
Angus King - ME.
Dick Durbin -IL
Maggie Hassan - NH
Tim Kaine -VA
Jacky Rosen - NV
Jeanne Shaheen - NH

Deaths from lost healthcare are on them.
Tonight was a very bad night.

KitKat's tragic martyrdom highlights an ongoing struggle for the heart of the city, not solely between a single tech company and a bodega, but between the tech industry and the public space it occupies. bayareacurrent.com/fuck-waymo-l...
Fuck Waymo, Long Live KitKat
A self-driving car killed a beloved SF cat. It’s part of a long history of tech companies using the Bay as a testing ground at our expense. People have had enough.

An account of Day 3 in the felony trial of Sandwich Guy who threw a wrapped Subway sub at an officer. I can’t believe the jury didn’t come back with an acquittal within 15 minutes. Ridiculous. But, like one commenter says, a very entertaining waste of my tax dollars.
Day 3 of the “no more than 2” day trial of Sandwich Guy. The prosecution intends to rest; the defense hasn’t decided yet. Dispute over jury instructions continues, a few morsels (sorry) to follow.

President Cheetoface was already shouting early this morning about rigged elections, especially regarding Prop 50 in California. I hope he can calm down. At his age and in his health, that kind of rage could cause a coronary or stroke, and that would be just so so terrible.

I’m waiting for my car’s oil change to finish. They have a Fresh Prince of Bel Air marathon playing on the waiting room TV. It’s punctuated by sad St. Jude child cancer commercials. Still deciding if I’m in hell or not.

I’m not only 100% anti-Trump, I’m 100% against the whole Project 2025/MAGA/Christian Nationalist goons surrounding him and the dismantling of Democracy. I guess that’s probably illegal.

There are literally lawsuits by US citizens who were detained. At least one guy was detained twice despite showing his REAL ID each time.

They just lie. And then the press hardly ever follows up to force them to answer.
Kristi Noem: "No American citizens have been arrested or detained. We focus on those who are here illegally. And anything you would hear or report that would be different than that is simply not true and false reporting."

Trump threatens to move World Cup games out of “dangerous” cities. FIFA says it isn’t his call. I’ve been saying since he was elected FiFA should move all games to Canada and Mexico. People don’t want to travel to the U.S.

FIFA VP: Not Trump's call to move WC games
U.S. President Donald Trump was reminded Wednesday that FIFA, not any government, ultimately decides which cities will host 2026 World Cup games.
