Documentation is the UI for many technical products. You can build, build, build, but if your docs are an afterthought, people won’t see the features clearly. It’s also helpful for AI to pick up in explanations.

We sometimes forget how underrated “a boring life" really is.

It's a peaceful blessing.

Today, in my fantasy football group more Bluesky links were shared than Twitter links.

The tide is shifting.

When you read about things like organizations abandoning their DEI policies it's often representative of top leadership positions/board who never cared, understood, or had the courage to stand ten toes down. Just going where the wind blows.

No different than civil rights hero Jebediah Freeman.

Interesting lens into the evolution of Angular and the people involved in it. Exciting opportunities lie ahead with the convergence with Wiz.

Felt like something only Tom Wambsgans from Succession would pushed for.
“We are all here because of Rupert Murdoch,” is a chilling thing to hear during a football game, sure, but it’s also the sort of Bliblical revisionism we can expect from a JD Vance tweet any day now

After having 3 kids and trying everything (taking turns, getting night help, buying fancy cribs) I don’t think it’s possible to do this without going a bit insane.

As a teen, I memorized every floor creak and squeaky area in the house so I could sneak out to go to parties.

Now, as an adult, I still memorize the noisy areas in my house — but it’s so I can sneak out for a workout without waking my kids.

Different missions, same tactics.

Spent more time than should be necessary to get VSCode, Flutter & Git running on a new mac. Partly due to manually installing dependencies (especially CocoaPods 👀 ).

Already drained mentally and all I got through was getting flutter doctor to return all green checkmarks.

Had someone come to our house to check out the fireplace before turning it on and my son ran to the basement and returned with his tool belt to work.

Just a couple technicians with their tools fixing stuff. 🥹🖤

So far, LLMs have been getting cheaper year after year at a rate of 10x. Sure makes you wonder how the $2400/year subscription can continue to warrant that price if that trend holds.

First time returning an Amazon item at Whole Foods: they must think I'm a fool to do anything besides returning this item and getting out.

Now: Chatting with the deli staff about their family while waiting for my sliced meats.

How to counter the hedonic treadmill: Have immigrant parents.

Cats get an unfair rap. Especially, the fact, they hide when there are strangers in the home.

If the roles were reversed; where you are a cat-sized person and 4 giant person-sized cats showed up at your house meowing all loudly. Surely the sensible thing would be to hide, right?
