No, people, TPC isn't going to announce the Gen 10 games during a sporting event only the US cares about just because a surprise reveal would be hype. It'll be during the Pokémon Presents that always happens at the end of February to coincide with the series' anniversary. Just give it ~3 weeks.

This kind of logic showed up all the time during Smash Ultimate's DLC. Entire segments of the fanbase assumed that if an idea was exciting and hype-worthy, it had to be more likely to happen.
Even after several character reveals and other surrounding announcements proved it wasn't that simple.

I don't know, like...there were some really notable and important reveals in the Partner Showcase. But very few of them are scratching that itch for me. Even stuff that normally would (played the Elliot demo and was left disappointed).
Just my luck, I guess.

Nash is not reliable. I wouldn't take him at face value.
That said, we had a shorter Direct out of nowhere last March, so it's not out of the question. Probably not later THIS month, though. Not when there's a 99% chance a Pokémon Presents is penciled in for near the end.

Well, it's not a main Direct, but it's something. Helps that the huge jump in power with the Switch 2 means plenty of third party ports are doable now that would never have been possible with the Switch 1.
Still, hopefully we won't be left waiting until June for more info on FE/Raiders/etc.
