This is an interesting idea: rooftop solar can free up space on the grid for things like AI (or EVs and heat pumps while were are here). It completely undercuts the anti-rooftop disinformation campaign that the utilities have been waging for years.

Ivan Penn's article from the weekend is a great example of what rooftop solar can do for communities. Sadly, it gives a lot of ink to the utilities and their favorite professor/paid grid regulator who continue to throw shade on rooftop solar. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...
