What a lot of the media is missing with Prop 50 is;
1. California asked it’s citizens whether to redraw
2. Prop 50 returns the role of redrawing to the independent commission after the next election
3. Red states that redrew their districts did not ask their citizens for permission

Where does one go to get away from the AI slop? AI was meant to take my job away, not bore me to death. Glad we are investing all this time, energy and engineering talent into pouring slop into Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.

It just gets harder to remain in this Apple walled garden when the leader has no clear moral compass. Of course this is no surprise given the duty of all leaders of public companies to increase shareholder value, but it continues to erode trust in every other company claim, especially on privacy.

My laptop daily driver is now a Framework 13" 2025 edition running Arch linux, formally a MacBook Pro M1. My new phone is on the way, moving away from iOS to Graphene OS. I will see how this transition to FOSS based systems goes, but so far so very excellent.

Well done administration. The dollar is collapsing in value because;
1. Global conflicts, particularly Iran
2. Freud with the Fed, especially over interest rates.
3. Current President signaling that only candidates willing to lower interest rates would be considered to replace Powell.
