We are falling into fascism and we need to keep speaking out.

Can hardly post anything happy with such damage being caused to the country. This was what all the republicans have wanted since Reagan times - to stop all ideas of promoting equality. I would like to think our country is way too diverse to ever allow it for long. The protest is showing that.

I'm starting to wonder if Republicans in Congress with their own majority could possibly dissolve their own Congress and we lose the checks and balances from there.

The president talks like a child. When we compare all the speeches in the history of presidents' speeches, the dump sounds like a babbling middle school child who got held back two grades.

Every vote matters in every election. People who choose not to vote are the ones that give it away to the Republicans.

#booksky I'm currently trying to read a sci fi book "Revenger" by Alastair Reynolds and so far doing okay. But it reminds me of why I rarely read sci fi -- I have a hard time following plots and "random" descriptions. Why is Sci Fi easier for others, but not for me? Perhaps a brain thing?

You know what the irony of the SAVE act is? I believe it's mostly Republican women who take the husband's last names. So essentially they're reducing their own voter base more than Democrat.

Tesla’s shareholders just lost another $38,640,000,000 today — a total $TSLA loss of $600 billion since December.

Tesla’s CEO was not in the office.

In literally any other public company ever, this would be the point where the CEO gets fired.

After nearly 5 years, I'm back to working out this year. I got the bowflex dumbbells to get me started again. Slow and steady. Exercise does help not just the health, but the mind. I'll need the exercise to calm my burning rage at the next 4 years at least. No such thing as too late to start <3.

#booksky don't sleep on the used bookstores or thrift stores. You can find plenty if you need to save up. I was missing 11 books of the jack Ryan series. "Half price books" in my city 😀

I also wonder how much damage will occur when those cuts also likely funded infrastructure in the US. Construction companies for example trying to make new offices or roads.
