This one’s dear to my heart. At the time this set was released, I was fascinated to piece the story together from the fragments. I didn’t care if the cards were good, I was just playing at the lunch tables study hall in high school .. having fun with themes, art & story. And yeah I lost a lot, lol.
Fallen Empires was an abject disaster that should’ve killed Magic dead. 31 years have passed. We're all still here.

Speaking of things to plan for hey MagicCon Amsterdam 2026 is 17-19 July and I gotta make that happen
if I had planned better or had known I’d be in Netherlands for real way back in May, I’d be headed to LeadDev Berlin coming up .. but man the late comer tickets are too pricey 😬

Place was overrun with small kids today (understandable there is an amazing playground adjacent) and desperately needs wax. I got hopes but man I was disappointed in myself. Guess it’s been a while since i skated
