Law enforcement officers in my home town have to have an associates degree is any field of study. Then take a nine month law enforcement training course.
After that the sheriff and police departments have training courses for officers before being cleared to patrol.

Talking to my mother this AM while on my way to work when she said something about gas prices being lower.
I told her that it was just a part of a distraction scheme by the Republicans. When things go South for the Rs, or during election season, fuel prices go down to please consumers.

I'm wondering... My uncle, my mother's brother, died from cancer while in prison. It wasn't in the state DOC's interest to help him overcome his illness. They were only interested in keeping him alive.
The fact that he died in a prison infirmary, isolated from his family, and his mother, is immoral.
