For days on end low flying helicopters hover over my neighborhood looking for agricultural workers, gardeners, people coming and going to work, any non criminal easy to take Mexican legal or not. It has come to a head tonight. Protesters are holding their ground but it’s dicey. I’m worried

Saw this very late last night. If you take the time to at least skip through it you will see just how much life here in Southern California has changed in regard to the respect given to the Mexican community since I was a kid. I actually cried a little.

Baby Red tailed Hawk learning to fly made it to my rooftop and then stayed there for about an hour trying to figure out what to do next. Eventually it made it to a tree top near by. From there, out into the wild blue yonder 🦅. A reminder that it’s still a beautiful world if you pay attention.
